| In the early 1980s, the tactics style of Chinese men's volleyball had formed. Since got the champion of Asian championships firstly in the late 1970s, they dominated Asian volleyball field with the characteristics of emphasizing the skill, fastness and comprehensiveness, flexibility and the balance of attack and defense. They also innovated the advanced skills which are "making a diving save, cap block, forward flight spike, backward flight spike, set-up for player No.3 and set-up for player No.4 etc", and developed "the fastness and flexibility" and "grouping cooperation" strengths of Chinese men's volleyball. Moreover, they gained the best achievement in history which was the fifth place of world championship. They predominated Asian volleyball field for a long time. But the situation changed since the middle of 1980s, Chinese men's volleyball failed in having the place in world games and Asian championship. After the new rules executed especially, the promising Chinese men's volleyball failed again in Asian games and championship, and didn't enter into the final of the Olympics in Athens in 2004 which all made us depressed. In the end of 2005, Zhou Jian'an who is the former coach of men's volleyball in Sichuan replaced the former coach of Chinese men's volleyball -Di Anhe who resigned during the coaching time. In 2006 the World Men's Volleyball League Match was the first time that Chinese men's volleyball performed in the grand international games since Zhou Jian'an appeared. Compared with the strong teams of foreign countries, there is not obvious inferiority in height and spring. However, there is certain distance in the tactics. So the major problem is how to formulate the guide ideas of tactics and the training plan, and how to modify and improve the skills level and strengthen the comprehensive skills quickly which all from the point of view of practical attack, which need to solve that can improve the whole level of Chinese men's volleyball in the following training process of Chinese men's volleyball.This article uses the methods of literature review, recorded statistics, and mathematics statistics, comparative analysis combining the situation of live match, recorded all the games of Chinese men's volleyball team in Chengdu match district of World Men's Volleyball League Match in 2006. And it comparatively studies the usage of tactics between Chinese men's volleyball and international strong teams. The findings tell us that Chinese has a long way to improve and modify in the serve skill, spike, blocking, first pass and defense when it compared with the world strong teams.According to the collecting data of Chinese men's volleyball team and the other foreign teams in Chengdu district match of World Men's Volleyball League Match in 2006, this article analyzes the problem and the skill practice of Chinese men's volleyball, finding the solutions and providing theory foundation for gaining good performance of Chinese men's volleyball the Olympics games in Beijing in 2008.Under the new conditions Chinese men's volleyball should develop the merits of their own skills and inherit the traditional strengths, and they should also correct the shortcomings and improve the level of athletic skill.1. Increasing the training of the bodily quality, especially the strength.2. Consolidating the attack of serve.3. Holding the fast and flexible tactics of tradition.4. Improving the individual skill of blocking and collective cooperation.5. Improving the spot ratio of first pass(serve and receive).6. Building the special training system of free defense player, and improving the science and aimness of training.7. Training the good psychological quality and the preservable style of volleyball court.8. Consolidating the exchange of experience, paying attention to the scientific analysis of spot information and innovative technique.9. Emphasizing the building of echelon and opening the volleyball market.
