EXCELLENT TEACHER IS THE SOUL OF HIGH QUALITY EDUCATION. MORE TEACHERS CAN BE FACILITATED FOR THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT BY ANALYZING AND STUDYING THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF INDIVIDUAL EXCELLENT TEACHERS. THIS STUDY FOCUSES ON THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF INDIVIDUAL EXCELLENT PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS, SEEKS THE KEY INCIDENCES IN THE COURSE OF THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, ANALYZES FACTORS INFLUENCING THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND SUMMARIZE THE APPROACHES THAT CAN IMPROVE THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SO AS TO PRIVIDE REFERENCE AND GUIDANCE FOR MORE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS.FOUR EXCELLENT TEACHERS FROM THE AFFILIATED PRIMARY SCHOOL OF JINAN NORMAL SCHOOL ARE RECRUITED IN THIS QUALITATIVE STUDY. THE RESEARCHER VISITED THE SCHOOL, AND COLLECTED DATA BY OBSERVATION, DEEP INTERVIEW AND PRODUCTION ANALYSIS. DETAILS AND FACTS ARE DESCRIBED AND SECTIONS ARE REORGANIZED INTO STORIES. THE"ESSENCE"IS REVEALED GRADUALLY BY THE EMPATHIC EXPLAINATION OF THE RESEARCHER.THIS DISSERTATION IS COMPOSED OF THREE SECTIONS. IN THE FIRST SECTION, IT SETS UP THE QUESTION, INTRODUCES THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS RESEARCH, REVIEWS THE LITERATURES AND INTRODUCES THE RESEARCH PROCESS. IN THE SECOND SECTION, IT EXPLORES THE COURSE OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF EXCELLENT PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS. IT NARRATES THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF FOUR TEACHERS, BOTH FROM CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION AND CLASS MANAGEMENT. IN THE THIRD SECTION, THE CHARACTERISTICS OF FOUR EXCELLENT PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS ARE SUMMARIZED. THE COURSE OF THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IS ANALYZED FROM THREE ASPECTS INCLUDING DEVELOPMENT STAGE, INFLUENCING FACTORS AND DEVELOPMENT APPROACHES. EXCELLENT CHARACTERISTICS OF THE FOUR TEACHERS ARE CONCLUDED BY REVIEWING ACTULAITY AND HISTORY OF THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. TEACHER A IS CLINGING AND RESPONSIBLE; TEACHER B IS QUIET AND ENTHUSIASTIC; TEACHER C IS HUMOROUS; TEACHER D IS OPTIMISTIC AND SMART. THEY EXPERIENCED THE GENERAL STAGES OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, INCLUDING POST ADAPTATION, STABLE DEVELOPMENT AND RAPID DEVELOPMENT, WITH TYPICAL CHARACTERS OF EACH STAGE. THEY PERFORMED WELL AT POST ADAPTATION STAGE, THEN ENTER THE STABLE DEVELOPMENT STAGE SUCCESSFULLY. WITH THE GROWTH OF EXPERIENCE AND PRACTICAL WISDOM, AND IMPACT OF GOOD INSIDE AND OUTSIDE ENVIRONMENT, THEY STEPPED INTO THE RAPID DEVELOPMENT STAGE. IN GENERAL, PERSONAL CHARACTERISTIC IS THE IMPORTANT FACTOR THAT INFLUENCING THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, INCLUDING RATIONAL EDUCATION BELIEF, ABUNDANT SPECIALITY WISDOM, STRONG PERSONAL FASCINATION. IN THE MEANTIME, EXCELLENT TEACHER CAN NOT GROW UP WITHOUT A GOOD ENVIRONMENT. SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL MANAGEMENT, OPEN AND CREATIVE TEACHING ATMOSPHERE, AND POSITIVE SCHOOL CULTURE ARE ENVIROMENT FACTORS INFLUENCING THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. IN THIS SECTION, IT SUMMARIZES FIVE APPROACHES OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INCLUDING LEARNING BY READING, CRITICAL THINKING IN TEACHING, EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH, SPECIALITY DIRECTION AND PRODUCTION DISPLAY.IN THIS STUDY, IT FOUND THAT EACH OF THE FOUR TEACHERS IS UNIQUE, WHICH DISTINGUISH THEM FROM AN ORDINARY TEACHER. HOWEVER, COMMON VIRTUES CAN BE FOUND FROM THEM SUCH AS LOVING THE PUPILS, DEVOTION TO EDUCATION, REPONSIBILITY AND MODESTY, PROFESSIONAL WISDOM AND PERSONAL FASCINATION. IT CONCLUDES THAT PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF EXCELLENT PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER IS CONSISTENT WITH THE CHARACTER OF ROUTINE STAGE; PERSONAL CHARACTERISTIC IS THE KEY FACTOR CONTRIBUTING TO PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT; AND PERSONS WITH PERSONAL FASCINATION ARE MORE LIKELY TO BE EXCELLENT TEACHERS.
