Part of developing our country'vocational education, and the main contents of which is Physical Education. Demands to the vocational education in new era are mainly based on two aspects of reformations that are teaching contents and methods of assessment.Proceeding from teaching goals of secondary vocational education and focusing on the specialty of physical education, we adopt specifically documents and datum, interviews and discusses, questionnaires and mathematical statistics. After questionnaires made among the teachers and students in accordance with teaching goals of physical education, contents and assessments and analyzing data acquired by spss10.0 logically, we draw the conclusion as follows:1.The teaching goals of physical education: health first; Physical training all life; Comprehensive physical training; Both technical abilities in physical training and cultural knowledge; Education of ideological cultivation and career attainments.2.The time spending on teaching theoretical knowledge is comparatively less in secondary vocational education. Teaching contents are away from not only the goals of physical education but also students'demands. So that it is difficult to irritate students'studying interests to the theoretical knowledge. A single teaching method and the weakness of teachers'level in theory are also one reason of causing students'bad practical theories'studies.3.Teaching in sports practice does not meet the demands of students. Teaching contents are lack of definite goals as well. Further more, goals,function and contents are lack of coordination and unification.4.The assessment in teaching have mainly three aspects problems as followed: The method of assessments is single and the procedure is not perfect; The present assessing model is not reasonable; The method of assessments is not for teaching targets.
