By returning to Durkheim, we can see that Durkheim used the mirror of society to analyze solidarity. This paper argues that there are some dilemmas in the mirror of society such as the paradox of mirroring and the myth of foundationalism. Richard Rorty suggests that we can use NeoPragmatism to imagine and reconstruct the classics. Maybe it's an interesting way by which our sociological imagination can be enriched.
