It proves that offensive turnovers are the major problems existing in us in the match, and we even can say it is the vital turnover that blocks our road to the next round.The thesis makes relevant turnover indexes after summing up the general performance of Chinese men's basketball team and comparing the turnovers with other contestants, and it collects data by watching video, makes a comparison by statistics method to find out why Chinese men's basketball team made many errors and tries to put forward the strategy to reduce our turnovers in the match so as to be referenced by men's basketball team in late training and matches.The approaches adopted in the thesis embody collecting data, watching video, analyzing statistics and visiting experts,etc.The conclusions of research indicate: Firstly,although the turnover is inevitable, it can be reduced.the offensive turnover is one of the important reasons that Chinese team got a dissatisfied result in this world championships;Secondly, there are too more turnovers than opponents in the places of advance and back. Especially,the errors in passing and holding is a big problem ; Thirdly, Chinese players attribute their more turnovers to the shortage of experience of world matches; Fourthly, Chinese men's basketball team is obviously in the inferiority in the body and mentality resistance compared with opponents ,which leads to the increasing of turnovers ; Fifthly, the Chinese men's basketball team depends on Yaoming excessively.Yaoming's burden is too heavy to escape errors ; Lastly, in This world men's basketball team championships, the Chinese team's inside and outside come apart so that the outside can't give the inside powerful support and help .The reasons that Chinese players made more offensive errors roots in the following factors:Firstly, their basic skills are dissatisfactory; Secondly, they are weak in physical qualities and opposing;Thirdly, they are weak in mental qualities and stability; Fourthly, the whole team can not cooperate well when they meet strong, offensive and oppressive defense;Lastly, Chinese players lack of experiences of world matches.The strategy of reducing turnovers: Firstly,Chinese men's basketball team should work hard in improving their basic skills;Secondly,we should pay more attention to physical training to increase the opposability ;Thirdly,we must attach more importance to mental qualities training and enhance the stability of mental qualities ;Fourthly,we should improve the tacit agreement of team's cooperation;Fifthly;defendence is worthy of paying attention .We must practice attacking under the condition of offensive defendence;Lastly,we should do our best to attend the international matchs.
