The Research About The Network Curriculum Design's Improvement Strategy

The network curriculum is the important carrier in modern distanceeducation, its quality is directly affect the learning effect which the long-distancelearner studies and the success or failure of distance learning, therefore it always is thehot spot which the long-distance E.S pay attention. The network curriculum isinfluenced by the technical factor it's relies on, the theory foundation and thedevelopment personnel and so on. In our country, many experts and scholars all spendthe massive painstaking care in the network curriculum improvement. Althoughnetwork curriculum in our country was developed very fast, but still has some problems.For example: neglecting instructional designs, concept confusion, and course contentperformance sole, independent study resources insufficiency and so on.The First Principles of Instruction was proposed first by Merrill professor, who isthe instructional design expert in the United States. The background is evaluate theproducts in multimedia and the internet teaching (training) used. The First Principles ofInstruction is precisely lives in view of the questions of the present network curriculum,compared with other instruction theory like constructionism, the Multiple intelligencesand the zone of proximal development and so on, it paid more attention in howenhanced the effect of network teaching, not describes how the humanity studies. It isdesign orientation, has stronger operationally and highlighted guidance function of theprinciple to the teaching practice. Simultaneously it has provided a new angle of view tous, explained where the emphasis must place in the design of network curriculum?Because of this, this article has analysis in view of First Principles of Instruction as thebreakthrough point to the network curriculum design.This article mainly uses the literature research, and the comparison research,introduced the First Principles of Instruction comprehensively, has analyzed itsadvanced parts, the characteristics, the suitable knowledge object and so on, this part ofcontents have represented my understanding depth to the First Principles of Instruction.Next I analyzed massive literature materials, in view of other scholars' investigationresults about network curriculum in our country, introduced the network curriculum definition, and the present situation, the constitution ingredient, and the main questionexist at present. The paper's main part included three parts:1. In aims at network curriculum present situation our country, analysis theimprovement strategy from three aspects: the instructional strategy, the study strategyand the instructional goal. The instructional strategy improvement includes: Coursecontent must match the instructional strategy, the teaching activity in the network ismanifests through the network curriculum, the different study content must has thecorresponding demonstration strategy, the "task-centered" strategy belongs to the highlevel demonstration strategy. Moreover, has described the principle to select the media.In the study strategy includes: In the study process, give the learner guidance whichgradually reduces. In distance study, must provide the long-distance learner the studystrategy more commonly used. In the teaching goal elaborated, borrowed the example topoint out its importance, simultaneously also has analyzed the difference between the"problem-centered" instructional strategy and the "task-centered" instructional strategy.2.
