By using the methods of documentary, questionnaire investigation, interviews, observation and statistics, the author conducts an investigation of the Current Situation of Implementation of Standard of Physical Education and Health in the junior middle school in Su Zhou Nan Tong and Yan Cheng in terms of the main components of curriculum: Aims, content, implementation, comment. The author of this paper objectively analyses the Current Situation of Implementation of Standard Of Physical Education and Health in the junior middle in Su Zhou Nan Tong and Yan Cheng from different aspects(Urban areas and Rural areas, Experimental areas and Non- Experimental areas, Economical developed areas SuZhou ,Less Economical developed areas Nan Tong and Economical undeveloped areas YanCheng), so that the research can provide some useful information for the same cities in JiangSu province and provide some references for the adaptation of the Standard Of Physical Education and Health. The result shows that:1. The teachers don't have a good understanding of the new ideas of Standard of Physical Education and Health, which affects the implementation of new curriculum. Many Junior Schools have adopted the new curriculum standard in SuZhou, Nan Tong and YanCheng, but the supervision from the upper department play a key role in process, which shows the impetus of reforming comes from the upper officials not from the reformers by themselves.2. The Standard of Physical Education and Health advocates five different area goals. however, it doesn't meet the demand which the new curriculum standard advocates:"The majority of students can reach these aims by their efforts". In process, the goals in physical fitness are well achieved, the goals in sports skills are ignored, the goals in psychology and social adaptation are not well achieved, the main reason is that the goals are in a logical mass and the goals are difficult to perform and evaluate.3. The majority of teachers disagree that they select the curriculum contents by themselves, they firstly consider the playground, the equipments as they select the curriculum contents, sometimes the students'interest is regarded as the only criterion. At present, the main contents are focused on balls and track and fields, the curriculum contents are becoming less and less.4. Three classes are not well executed in these three cities, the teachers still use the traditional teaching methods, though the learning methods of"Self-study, Cooperation study and Research study"are adopted, the teachers only purchase the superficial form, especially for Research study, they couldn't master the deep meaning, so the efforts are not well. Some teachers even think that they needn't explain, demonstrate, correct the mistakes when they use the new learning methods, they set the new learning methods against the traditional teaching methods.5. The teachers'evaluation, the students'own evaluation and the evaluation among students are adopted suitably in class. The main contents of evaluation are still focused on the skills and sports results. The standard of the students'physical fitness are not well executed. As the process evaluation is difficult to perform, the teachers mainly adopt the finial evaluation.6. The different economical foundation has no direct influence for the implementation of new curriculum standard; The difference between Urban areas and Rural areas has a direct influence for the implementation of new curriculum standard; The process between Experimental areas and Non-Experimental areas has a little influence for the implementation of new curriculum standard.Finally, the paper presents some advice on the Current Situation of Implementation of Standard of Physical Education and Health, hoping that will be useful for the comprehensive implementation of the standard of PE and Health curriculum in the Junior Middle School.
