This paper, which proceeds from the high school physical teaching reality, and makes use of education teaching theory, attempts to explore the main factors that influence the high middle school students to learn physics by the research means that combines the questionnaire and the interview on the detailed analysis of physical performance basis. According to the conclusions, I put forward some useful proposals about high school physical teaching. The major factors that influence the high middle school students to learn physics can be summarized as the following three points:1. Internal factors are intelligent and non-intelligent factors, cognitive ability and principal-cognitive ability, learning methods, learning aims and self-criticism, ect.2. External factors are teaching experience, teacher-student relations, the level of teaching materials, environmental factors and social prejudice, etc.3. Other factors are sex, logical thinking of math-physics science, teaching resources, etc.I put forward some teaching suggestions according to the above-mentioned conclusions, as follows:1. Lower the teaching difficulty, make the students master the basic knowledge in physics class, and gradually form students' physics learning tactics and methods.2. Readjust the structure and the content of the subject to develop students' intelligent and non-intelligent factors.3. Strengthen the cooperation and consultation to improve teaching level and learning efficiency.4. Improve learning environment, clear up the social bias, optimize the teaching resources, and improve the students' performance in physics.5. Develop the cognitive ability and principal-cognitive ability of the students by combining the teacher's criticism with the student self-criticism.
