With the rapid development of the modern technology, if the teachers still use the traditional teaching ways and methods, it will be very difficult to change the current teaching situation fundamentally, it can not fully reflect the new curriculum education ideas as well. The features and educational function of the game provides a new way for the realization of the education ideas which is advocated in the new curriculum reform.Take the primary Chinese curriculum as an example, this paper focuses on how to put the game spirit into teaching, which is guided with the related theories and how to construct a series of practical and applicable operational modes.This paper reflects and explores the spirit of the game and its educational function. It shows that the main sprit and the participable spirit of the game happen to hold the same view with the new curriculum. The spirit of the game makes the teaching process full of fun and motivation. What is more, it is good to develop the students' initiative, enthusiasm and creativity, especially on the students' interest to the study. It is a positive exploration of the existing teaching mode.First, this paper reviews and researches the connotation of the game. It reveals that game is significant to the human being, especially to the children. It analyzes the principle of leading the spirit of the game into the teaching as well.Second, the author summarizes the following implementation ways of the game teaching, which are based on the practical exploration: primary Chinese literacy teaching, reading teaching, writing teaching, how to build the classroom atmosphere, enhance the emotional exchanges, pay attention to the combination of the cooperation and competition, design assignment and attempt various evaluation systems. With many examples, the author carries on the cases analysis, which approves that instead of engaging in idle theorizing, game teaching of the primary Chinese is practical and feasible.This paper aims to explore the applicable value of the game in teaching, construct the game teaching mode. Hopefully, it can bring some ponders and enlightenment to the general educators. It continues to explore the rules of the game, education and teaching. Let the games bring the new vigor and vitality to the children; let the children love learning as much as they love games; let the learning touches the hearts of the children like what the games have done on them; Let the children learn in the playing and play in the learning. The author expects the paper can promote the diversification of the curriculum research and bring some new ideas to the curriculum reform as well.The innovation of this paper lies in the following aspects: Analyzing the game features (from broad and narrow sense) and educational function; Putting the spirit of the game into the classroom teaching with the new curriculum ideas, which aims at the issues arising in the current teaching mode; Providing some ideas for the curriculum reform which is guided with the related theories and based on the practice.
