Curriculum and instruction is paramount for school operation. Under the prevailing trend of integrating information technology into curriculum and instruction, blogs, emerged as an innovative network technology, have been applied into a variety of educational contexts. However, there is a relative paucity of research on applying blogs into curriculum and instruction. This thesis reports a case of using blogs in curriculum and instruction. Based on the framework of action research, this research is rooted in a classroom context and aims to further improve the practice in the context.This research first reports and discusses the findings during the implementation of blogs in Educational Communication Course. The finding includes:teaching resources,discussion on subject,questions and answers about review,feedback of teaching effect etc. Based on previous experience and findings, the thesis further extends blogs activities to other curriculum: The C Programming Language and Modern Educational Tecnology. At last, the research discusses several applying fuctions of blogs in some instructional contexts, such as: thesis instruction,learning communication,teaching reflection and students' words.The investigation of the interaction between blogs and curriculum and instruction, indicated the possibility and effectiveness of using blogs in different curriculum and instructional contexts, and provided a new approach to communications between instructors and students.
