Undergraduate student' mental health is a social hot point problem. As the core position in the individual spirit system, values not only have the important function to explain, predict and direct the individual behavior, but also effect on the stress coping styles and mental health directly. this thesis has investigated the values, press coping styles and mental health of 600 undergraduate students that came from five universities, used with the Undergraduate students' values questionnaire by Zhiyong Xin , stress coping styles questionnaire by Jihua Xiao and symptom checklist 90 questionnaire, research the relationship of three and try to set up the function mechanism models. At last, put forward the measure to help the Undergraduate students to keep the mental health and adopt the right way to cope the stress from the values.The results of the study show as follows:1,According to the descending order, Undergraduate students' values row preface is, character, work, family, money, follow the most, law, ethical relations and public welfare.2,Go up along with the grade, the undergraduate student's values of character and public welfare dropped clearly, but the values of money and follow the most increase obviously. The senior students were lower than other grade students.3. The students from the city more tend to following the most values, where the public welfare values is opposite.4. The values of character and public welfare which the one-child students have is less than the others.5. The values of character, family and public welfare which the students from rich family have less than others obviously, where the following the most is opposite. The students from poor family are less than others on the law values.6,According to the descending order, Undergraduate students' coping styles row preface is: Solving problems, asking for help, fantasize, avoid, rationalize and self-reproach.7. Ccompared with female students, the male students tend to use the method of solving problems, self-reproach and rationalization.8. One-child students use the coping method of solving problems less than other students.9. The students from poor family tend to use the self-reproach method.10. According to the descending order, Undergraduate students' mental health row preface is: Obsessive-compulsive, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility, photic anxiety, paranoid ideation, psychotics, sleeping and appetite, summarization.11. Significantly positive correlations were found between the values of character and solving problems, and negatively correlated with the rationalization. Significantly positive correlations were found between the values of money and fantasy, and negatively correlated with the solving problems. Following the most negatively correlated with the solving problems significantly.12. The students' character values negatively correlated with somatic, hostility, photic anxiety, paranoid ideation, psychotics, sleeping and appetite. Money positive correlated with somatic, depression, anxiety, hostility, paranoid ideation, psychotics, sleeping and appetite. Following the most negatively correlated with summarization and psychotics.13. Solving problems method negatively correlated with interpersonal sensitivity, depression, hostility, photic anxiety and psychotics, obsessive-compulsive, anxiety, paranoid ideation, sleeping and appetite, somatic. The method of asking for help negatively correlated with depression. The facts of self-reproach, fantasize, avoid, rationalize positive correlated with the all facts of mental health.14. Covariance Structural Equation Model showed that, there are some path relationship among values, stress coping styles and mental health. values is indirect and direct effect on psychological health.
