P.E has developed a lot along with in response to the development of PE reform policy, so does PE reform in colleges. A Guideline of PE Course Reform in the Average Colleges is committed on the base of course construction and teaching experience in colleges, it is pointed out that P.E activities can solve students" psychological problems and develop active attitude to the life. In P.E teaching, teachers should help students to develop their interest in it and therefore form such characteristics as frank, optimistic and self-confident personality. But. how to make those emotional characteristics in practice is the vital point to be solved. In the article, the writer tries to explore some teaching method which is suitable not only for the present teaching ideas but also for the students' emotional development, by doing so. to stimulate students' creativity and activity so as to achieve the aim of lasting exercises.Documentation, questionnaire, experts' interviews, statistics, comparison experimental practices are used here to discuss the final result of students' emotional development in P.E teaching in colleges. It is studied that students emotional development in P.E teaching in colleges can effectively stimulate students' creativity, strengthen the relationship between teachers and students, improve students' competition sense and ability in solving problems, it can also improve P.E teaching quality and helps students to form healthy mind.
