The Study On The Core Competence And Cultivation For Research University

Face the new century, along with the constant quickening and deepening of global economic integration course, market competition becomes more and more fierce. At the same time, the socialization of higher education's needs provides more and more market opportunity. The educationist and theorist always struggle with the question that university how to survive and develop in the fierce market competition.As the important part of the system of higher education, Research University have not only distinctive social function and important historical mission but also the survivable and developmental impersonal basic. In order to gain constantly competitive advantage, researcher study the unavoidable topic about the Core Competence of Research University according to insisting on and carrying out the scientific concept of development.On the basis of theory about the Core of Competence, this paper discuss the connotation and characteristic about the Core of Research University, design the evalution index system and method, study the countermeasure to cultivating and promoting. On this condition, this thesis take the key university for instance, which under the direct control of the Ministry of Education and put forward the aim to building the university into multidisciplinary and coordinated development Research University of high level, make analysis of demonstration and bring forward the countermeasure to cultivating and promoting of the Core Competence about the example.I hope that this paper can provide a few enlightenments for our country's Research University on cultivating the Core Competence by these studies.
