There were a large number of elites with lofty ideals who joined in the cause of education in modern China history. The Civilians education and rural education campaigns they initiated and guided was aimed to save and change the old China. During this time, many fruitful and far-reaching influential educators emerged.Luo Zhouzhong was one of them. He took it responsible to enhance the spirit, and comprehensively improve the quality of rural children.He had long committed to the rural basic education, thus forming a rich and unique educational ideology in his long-term practice.Luo Zhouzhong's educational ideology took advantage of John Dewey's educational philosophy of pragmatism,and innovated it with Chinese actual environment .In the other hand, Luo Zhouzhong's educational ideology resulted from his educational practice of long time.In addition to the introduction, Luo Zhouzhong's educational ideology and Practice will be studied in five parts.The first part deals with the origin of Luo Zhouzhong's education ideology and practice and the historical background. It will be Studied from aspects such as his family background, schooling experience and various social trends of thought at the time, the policies.The second part deals with Luo Zhouzhong's"bloody character"and practice through abundant history information. From the Connotation ,the basic content, features and other aspects of the "bloody character " education,the concept will be comprehensively studied and reviewed.The third part disscusses Luo Zhouzhong's "life education" theory and practice.The author will explore and explain "life education" theory ,the ways of practicing it,and will show "life education" theory was based on John Dewey's educational philosophy of pragmatism,The fourth part deals with Luo Zhouzhong's school teaching ideology and practice.It will analyze and explore Luo Zhou zhong's definition of "child,by the child,for the child", and "loving education,loving school,loving child" ,and "grinding blood,hematemesis,hematopoietic", and the Teacher education reform programme. The fifth part evaluates Luo Zhouzhong's education ideology and his practice. In the meantime,the author will point the practical significance of Luo Zhouzhong's education ideology and his practice.
