Moguls competition should consist of one run of free skiing on a steep, heavily moguled course, stressing technical turns, speed, and Aerial maneuvers. The Judges will evaluate the athletes by the turns, Aerial manoeuvres and speed. Moguls skiing is one of three standard events in freestyle skiing - moguls, aerials, and ballet. The moguls is a skiing event according to the international standards.Moguls skiing is the newest discipline within the sport of skiing. It has roots in Scandinavia, similar to all skiing disciplines, but its primary development occurred in North America during the 1960s. Before the advent of timed Alpine racing, Norwegian skiers measured the best skier by their style when skiing around gates. In the United States, Mogul skiing developed as a part of professional ski exhibitions early in the 20th century. Standardized competitions began in the 1960s with the first freestyle skiing competitions which include the moguls skiing taking place in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire, in 1966. The first professional competitions were held in 1971 and the World Cup freestyle tour began in 1980. In 1979, the International Ski Federation (FIS) recognized freestyle skiing as a discipline. The first FIS World Championships were contested in 1986 in Tignes, France. Moguls skiing was contested as a demonstration sport at the 1988 Olympic Winter Games in Calgary, with contests for men and women in all three events. Moguls skiing was added to the official programme of the Albertville Games in 1992. There are 5 times in the Olympic experiences till the 20th Torino Winter Olympic Games. The moguls is very popular during the fans of skiing sports. Because of the competition are exciting and attractive.The paper uses method of literature, watching, mathematics, visiting to research on the roots and early development of the moguls skiing; the features of the mogul skiing; the training of moguls skiing and the development in China.We get the conclusion from the research: 1. Moguls Skiing has a very short development history in the world, It is only 40 years. But it is very popular.2. The venues, equipment and rules affect the development of Moguls Skiing a lot.3. USA, Norway, Finland, Canada and Japan in Asia have good records in the past Winter Olympic Games.4. The Training of the Moguls in the world is unique thought.5. The Moguls has a very short development period in China. We need to do a lot of work because of low level.6. The Moguls Skiing has a very good future in China.
