The daily teaching work of a teacher is based on its special practical knowledge, which is the combination of practical words and thinking styles belonged to a teacher, and which is also the normal character as a professional teacher. Before one new teacher takes his post, he always meets a lot of difficulties and crises in reality, the key reason is that he lacks the practical knowledge and skills. However, the stage as a new teacher will determine the professional development of a teacher and has an important effect on the teacher's professional growth and tendency. So it is urgent and necessary to do such kind of research in order to help the new teacher to cope with such crises in this step.This research subject is limited on the construction research of personal practical knowledge of new teacher. The research method is based on qualitative research in order to check the construction of the practical knowledge through the analysis of teacher's personal life history. This paper can be divided into two parts. One is theory exploration, the other is case study.Firstly, to explain the personal practical knowledge of a new teacher with theory. This part will contain the understanding about the basic intention, indicating method and developing approach of the new teacher's personal practical knowledge as well as the discussion on the characteristics of such kind of knowledge. Then the author will indicate the possible approach of the research on the teacher's personal practical knowledge.Secondly, to do observation of construction of the new teacher's practical knowledge based on case study. By employing autobiography methods in life history research, combining with interviews and centering on Mrs Mo's personal life experience, professional learning experience and work experience, the author makes a probe into the construction process of teacher's practical knowledge.The last chapter gets a conclusion according to the above analysis, pointing out the sources, factors and the way of developing the new teacher's practical knowledge. Some strategies and suggestions of developing the new teacher's practical knowledge are added at personal, organizational and professional levels.
