With the special characteristics ,television media has an huge influence on children. As a kind of popular culture, it provide a more acceptable form of culture for children. Under the influence of this kind of culture, children are experiencing a process of cultural learning and cultural adaptation, and the growth of children is also under the influence of the specific social culture carried by the television media.This thesis uses empirical method, including investigation on children in Wuhan and Fengkou, Honghu and question survey on their parents, to discuss the various affections of media on children. And it proves through research that the media has become a normal way of life of children. The ideological concepts, behavior and habits of children are influenced by media imperceptibly.On the one hand, television media have a positive impact on children's growth process, such as enrich the spiritual world, cultivate the language skills and regulate the mood. on the other hand, because of interests driven, children would be placed into the environments of commerce, violence and sex atmosphere, which will change their behavior and attitudes, as well other certain negative impact.In view of these negative impact caused by television dissemination, This thesis states some reform measures and strategies about television media, there are four ways to endeavor, first, to the perfect the mechanism, second, to launch the children channel, and the third, to establish the classification system on movie, fourth, to provide children with media education, from the measures above , we can help children develop good habit, form correct life manner and Positive life style.
