The construction of discipline is core to the developing of university. It's necessary to enhance our country's creativity. It's also important to improve our agricultural research ability, and it can help to cultivate more and more high-level person with ability. These will contribute to forming the Core Competencies of the research university, increasing the Agriculture force in the world, solving the problems which are related to the building of modern countryside.This article chooses the construction of agricultural key discipline in Research University as the object, according to the theory of management and higher education pedagogy, adopting the literature and investigates method, to studying the background of the construction of agricultural key discipline.
