Language is communicative tool, the final aim of language teaching and learning is for communication and using in life. Communication teaching method stresses to train pupils' communicative skill, and its key is that pupils can use learnt languages to make the effective and appropriate communication with different objects in different places. The idea of the communication method is the same view with " to develop pupils' comprehensive language using ability " promoted in New Curriculum Standard. It 's instructed by Multiple Intelligence and the Theory of Inborn Language Sense, according to the idea of New Curriculum Standard, it emphasizes pupils' comprehensive language using ability and multiple intelligence developing. It seeks for its effect and value from pupils' classroom participation and individual developing aspects.Ren'he Street Primary School of Yuzhong district being a case, this study attempts to analyze the problems of English teaching in primary school and search the causes. It takes action research , questionnaires investigation, case study .Through classroom observation record, diaries, teachers' reflections, interviews with teachers and pupils after class, teaching learning case study , the data is collected for analyzing, concluding communication teaching method being operated in English class of primary schools. In this way , we can get its achievements and seek for its improving steps.
