In our country, the specialty of science education still belongs to an emerging specialty. Now, it was in the experimental stage. How to carry out the construction of the specialty, especially how to deal with the idea of the construction, the installation of the course, the management of the teaching and the allocation of teaching resource are waiting to investigate. So, this paper emphasizes on discussion about the problem of the construction of the specialty of science education. It was mainly departed four researching parts.The first part is focus on the cultivation orientation of the under graduated teaching. It explained the base of the location of the under graduated teaching firstly. Then, it analyzed the problem of the location of the under graduated teaching in our country. At last, it investigated the object and the standard of the cultivation and the academic degree type.The second part is mainly on the investigation of the curriculum installation of the specialty. It contrast analyzed the normal course, the subject course, education course, practice course of the specialty in domestic and international firstly. Then, it summarized the difference of the development of the science education specialty in western developed country, Taiwan province and our country. Next, it investigated the idea and principle which the curriculum system of the science education specialty should abide by. Based on this, we attempt to reconstruct the curriculum system of the specialty. Moreover, we emphasized on researching the construction, content, and the setting style of the curriculum system.The third part studied the practice teaching system of the specialty. First, it mainly studied the experiment teaching and the education practice of the specialty. Then, it analyzed the existing problem of this two aspects in internal and raised the strategy to solve it. At last, it discussed the construction of the laboratory.The fourth part gave some thoughts about administration mode of specialty of science education and teaching resources constructing. First, we presented an administration mode in which department of science education is directly under the control of university. Secondly, we analyzed some problems about concept and specialty structures that are still puzzling teachers, and gave answers of them. Finally, we suggested that grouping teachers from different schools together to compile teaching materials of science education was a feasible choice.
