The paper focuses on the elaboration of ancient poetry and prose language-sense teaching in high school Chinese New Textbook. During the recent 20 years, language sense and language-sense teaching is one of important points and highlights in Chinese teaching research, particularly in the New Standard Chinese Curriculum, language sense has become the "key word". As the part of "feeling and appreciating", in "common high school Chinese course standard", it requires students to read the classical works, taste language, feel its thought and art charm and develop the ability of imagining and appreciating. What's more, they also should have good sense of mordren Chinese and improve their ability of appreciating towards on ancient Chinese poetry. The recent decades' teaching practice shows that language sense teaching agrees with the rule of Chinese teaching. However, there are some mistaken ideas in language-sense teaching at present: For example, the part of language-sense teaching is relatively slim. There formed no systematic, effective and progmatic language-sense teaching model. Nevertheless, the practice of language sense lays stress on "chanting", but ignores "analysing"; It attaches importance to "listening and reading", but makes light of "speaking and writing". As a result, this paper analyses the existing problems and reasons in ancient poetry teaching. From the point of Chinese teaching reform, it points out language-sense teaching is important to improve students' ability of utilizing Chinese, their accomplishment in Chinese, especially their level of learning Chinese. In the end, it elaborates the practical exploration in high school ancient peotry and prose enhancement of language-sense teaching.
