The self-efficacy theory is an important component of Bandura theory. Self-efficacy, as an important non-intelligent factor, is a powerful internal driving force in the course of operation, meanwhile, plays an extremely key role in the control and regulation. Many studies show that self-efficacy not only affects undergraduate's academic scores and achievement motive, but also predicates human's behavior and motivation effectively. In sports fields, with passage of time, the research on self-efficacy is on the rise. Most of them focus on the relationship between self-efficacy and sports achievement as well as the fitness. From the early 1980s, making research on self-efficacy began to rise and develop in the educational field. The undergraduates majored in physical education pay more attention to self-efficacy's influence on teaching and academic achievement, but pay little attention to experimental research. Taking the undergraduates majored in football as the research object, this study is intended to form experimental group and contrasting group with the purpose to find that an effective way which can enhance the undergraduate's self-efficacy. After the teaching experiment, this study improves undergraduate's self-efficacy, and make a comparison with traditional teaching. Measuring the data gained by two groups of students before-and-after the experiment by measurement tools- "General Self-efficacy Scale", "Achievement Motive Scale" and measuring standards of football basic skills is to find an effective way which can improve the undergraduate's self-efficacy, and observing, comparing, analyzing the change of achievement motivation and sports behavior is to prove the assumption: improve self-efficacy's promotion effect on undergraduate's achievement motive and behavior study, and provide theoretical and practical help to football teaching. It has been concluded after this experimental research that: using the four factors influencing self-efficacy could improve students' self-efficacy effectively; by improving self-efficacy, undergraduates could improve achievement motive and behavior study effectively. And the results are significantly better than traditional teaching group; by improving those undergraduates' self-efficacy, the improvement of the more complex and difficult skills is more significantly; improving self-efficacy could also enhance the capabilities of the undergraduates who left behind the others much more effectively and obviously.
