Parent-child communication belongs to family interpersonal communication. At present, communications research in this area is almost empty. This article focuses on the influence of parent-child communication caused by Internet using. This is a research on the Internet and the family of cross-interpersonal communication research, and it is a new attempt.This article utilized questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews with a combination of methods, and focuses on study of two generations of the differences in Internet usage, the difference in the attitude of the use of the Internet, the impact of parent-child communicate, analysis of the reasons for the different effects, and recommendations of how to improve the parent-child communication.The study found:There are significant differences between adolescents and parents on the use of the Internet. Adolescents use the Internet longer than their parents. Adolescents have more enthusiasm about the Internet and rely on the Internet.Parents have two different attitudes for adolescents using the Internet, firmly opposed to and limited support. Adolescents learn the Internet on their own or learn from peer. The majority of parents don't want to learn the Internet from their children.The face-to-face communication is the main communication way between adolescents and parents. Parent-child communication on the use of the Internet will have positive or negative effects that are likely to increase the topic and time to get along, or may increase the parent-child conflict and reduce the time to get along.The different effects of the parent-child communication caused by Internet using depend on the attitude of parents. Parents should change their attitude and learn from adolescents with an open mind to gain new common experience. So they can reduce the gap between children and parents and form a good Parent-child communication. In the era of Post-figurative culture, that is the request of development of the times.
