To cater for the challenges of knowledge-based economy,many countries have carried out educational reformation,however,the key of educational success attributes to build an excellent teachers' group.With basic education curriculum reformation advancing,the societies emphasize the improvement of the teachers' quality,paying attention to teacher professional development.In the research of mathematics teacher professional development,mathematics teacher owns a special and very important knowledge which calls pedagogical content knowledge. This knowledge based on teachers' personalized teaching experience,it is an integration of pedagogy and subjects in the teachers' unique field,it is the specific form of teachers' understanding,and it can turn the mathematical form of the science into the form of education effectively.Therefore,there are two of the most important related topics in the research of mathematics teacher professional development.One is what the components of the teaching knowledge are,and how much it need;the other is how to improve the mathematics teachers teaching knowledge needed.This paper,analyzed the pedagogical content knowledge and based on Action Education, makes research about high school mathematics teacher developing pedagogical content knowledge.This research adopts qualitative research,using a high school mathematics teacher as individual case,collects the data by the form of colleagues discussion and classroom observation and sorts out and analyzes the data,furthermore confirms the development and variation condition of high school mathematics teacher pedagogical content knowledge.After these studies,high school mathematics teacher pedagogical content knowledge has developed to an extent,mainly embody:(1) Recognition of students understanding mathematics knowledge;(2) Recognition of organization of educational content;(3) Recognition of educational strategies and the modern information technology;(4)Recognition of feedback of educational effects;(5)Recognition of the effective means to promote the development of teacher knowledge. Through practicing research,we believe that it is the effective way of promoting the development of teacher pedagogical content knowledge that teacher reflects on the teaching based on the combinations of theoretical studies,colleagues communicating between each other and self-reflection.
