The math and the math thinking is everywhere in today's rapidly changing information age. It is generally agreed that the quality of math education for talented people quality have an important role in training, the university students′mathematical literacy is an important component of the general quality. At the same time, the ministry of education recently awarded the"Senior high school math curriculum standards", to carry out the culture of teaching math in the stage school. The job of the normal university of mathematics and applied mathematics major is to train good math teacher for the high school directly. The culture attainments in math of teachers′affect the students, and the culture attainments in math of students′of normal university affect the whole country.In this case, combined with the cultivate object of the normal school, it is a good way to improve the student's culture attainments in math by deeply studying the present situation. And this study can provide a strong theoretical basis for improving the teaching methods and the teaching effectiveness.In this thesis, I described the student's culture attainments in math in theory by the way of literature analysis, mainly including the concepts, characteristics and elements. Then, conducted a deep and systematic analysis in questionnaire by surveying The overall level of the culture attainments in math of university students, differences of different grades and different gender and the relevance of four elements with the higher normal school students majoring in math, I get the following conclusions:1,Students of normal university majoring in math and applied math have a certain level of the culture attainments in math, but not very well. 2,There is great difference among the university students of each grade. The senior is better than the junior, and the junior is better than sophomore students.3,There is great difference among the students of normal university of different gender. And the female is better than male.4,The four elements of the culture attainments in math have strong positive correlation, and it′s correlation coefficient is significant at the 0.01 level.
