A Study Of World Outstanding Tennis Players' Aggressive Forehand Characteristic

Nowadays,Excellent tennis players mainly adopt aggressive tactics on the hard court.It is widely admitted that the forehand is not only the mostly used technique but also the guarantee to score in the attack. There are few reports about the offensive forehand among domestic or international tennis collections,particularly the quantization of the players' forehand attack on index.Through the comparison of the forehand attack ability between excellent players,this paper aims to select various representatives' indexes of forehand attack,thus provide some references for the evaluation of the players' forehand attack ability.By adopting the method of literature,video analysis,expert interview,Mathematical Statistics method together with the analysis of the comparison between the significance and insignificance of the forehand attack in 80 sets among 9 top players,this paper comes to the following conclusions:(1) Among the representative 9 indexes,score rate of the forehand, score contribution rate of forehand,line change rate of the forehand, the rate of the inside-out and forehand through the net are different between the case in statistics(P＜0.05).Score rate of the forehand owns the biggest contribution to the result of each set and the maximum rate is 0.788.(2) when win the set,all players' score rate of the forehand is higher than lost.If they win the set,the score rate of the forehand must higher than 15.3%.(3) When Nadal win the set,the score contribution of forehand is lower than lost.If the excellent tennis players win the set,the score contribution of forehand must higher than 25%. (4) Among the excellent tennis players,the forehands all have comparatively higher ability to change the line initiatively on the hard court.By passing deep and successively attack one opponent in big angle and to create the opportunity to get a goal.When win the set,all players' line change rate of forehand is higher than 65.1%.(5) Forehand batting is most frequently used in the third strike of servicing side.(6) In addition to Nalbandian,the rest 8 players use more inside-out in service set than in receive set.when win the set,the rate of inside-out are higher than 17.6%.(7) For success rate of the net,when the outstanding players forehand follow through to the net,they mostly inhibit the opponent's weak side or big angle oblique line to cast off the opponent.
