The research of developing the senior citizen sports consumption market is a important respect of sports industry development. However, there are many shortages on them, and lack of researching on senior citizen sports consumption market in Wuhan. Nowadays, with the rapid development of the sports consumption market, researchers should know about the current situation of the senior citizen sports consumption market of Wuhan in an all-round way, obtain the basic data of the level of the senior citizen consumption, and analyze its development capacity and influence factors, to provide the basis for its development.This paper tries to use the methods such as questionnaire survey, the documentation data, interview and mathematical method, take the senior citizen sports consumption population of Wuhan as the object of study, to know about their current consumption situation, the development capacity and the influence factors, and put forward the countermeasure of developing the senior citizen sports consumption market of Wuhan.(1) Guiding the senior citizen to consume healthy by high-level cultural consciousness. (5) Expanding the channels of the sports goods to increase the convenience. (6) Increasing the special service for the senior citizen sports consumption. (7) Formulating strategies which is reasonable and fit the senior citizen sports goods. (8) Opening reasonably the sports infrastructure and strengthening the construction of sports field suitable for the senior citizen in community.
