Present Situation And Development Strategy Of Hunan Meishan Powers

Meishan powers are spread in Hunan's central rural areas as a regional national sports. Its millennial cultrual heritage has deeply affected the personality of many local villagers and the formation of village's folk customs and it is one of the main carrier of the embodiment of Hunan'sculture. In the 1970s and 1980s, Meishan powers has become a popular sport.It lauch vigorous activities in Xinhua and other places in some rural areas in order to promote the construction of spiritual civilization.In the 1990s,it was left out in the cold among the new generation of local villagers and the development was declined.That's not conform to the construction of harmonious society and new countryside and cultural rejuvenation which our country apply to build.Therefor,The auther fully investigate it in order to try out its exellent geographical cultural personality,combine with the current situation,take countermeasures and able to translate the cultural identity into the national characters of local people,develop and utilize effectively its humanistic values,reinforce and expand the national personality of the foundation of local people.In this paper,we used documentation,site visits,discussions visit,logical analysis and other research methods.It makes a more comprehensive investigation and analysis objectively.It mainly start up the study from the cultural characteristics,social values.The conditions and influential factors,the development and countermeasures of Meishan powers and several other aspects.I access some relatively real material to demonstrated to the author's assumptions through consult available documents an on-site inspection of some local villages,inerviews about old pugilists,villagers,village cadres.Through studies,the cultural characteristics of Meishan powers have a typically local characteristics of Hunan style and a rich folk literature.Its formation was influenced by variety of social factors and a important branch of the Chinese martial arts.In its history,it accelerate the development of the community of the local villages.At present,its development enter a period a downturn,was mainly affected by the improvement of the local village's material production and living standards,the change of villager's opinion and concept,the impact of foreig language,the devitation of local government's focus of martial arts and the shortage of school sports and cultural education in local areas.If Meishan powers want to continue working for the development of local community,we should take countermeasures in several aspects.The author also come up with specific measures:Firstly,understand Meishan powers objectively;lead the villagers to establish a local cultural beliefs.Secondly,strenghthen the specialized systematic study of the protection and development of Meishan powers.Thirdly,carry out some necessary innovation of content and form.and wage some widespread education and activities.
