Since the level and the quality of the modern life has changed a lot,people who has too much food with high glucide or fat and take less exercise got adiposity. But the traditional exercise are not quite proper for them.Most of the obese people are not willing to take these ways. This paper is trying to validate weather the effect of Yoga is significant for weight loss by experiment.In this thesis,29 subjects were recruit to take Yoga exercise for 26 weeks,and their body data such as body fat,percentage of body fat,arm girth,weist girth and hip girth was meteraged to tell the effect of Yoga for weight loss by analyzing and comparing with SPSS.The conclusion by meteraging,analyzing and comparing is as below:1. 26 weeks exercise of Yoga had significant effects on weight loss,and the effects of the last 13 weeks was better than the first 13weeks. It proves that using Yoga to lose weight should be insisted on and frequently.2. Besides the waist girth,hip girth,arm girth and thigh girth reduced significantly,the waist girth,hip girth reduced more than the arm girth and the thigh girth. So Yoga is proper for the central obesity people.3.Yoga has significant effct on weight loss,but it took slow.The practicer should be patient enough. The recept of the subjects is that Yoga also had effects on cervical spondylosis,sleep and spirit.
