College teachers as high level intellectual play an important role in carrying out the strategy of rejuvenating the nation by science and education, improving Chinese nation's quality and training different kinds of talents who can promote social and economic development. During recent years, because of total and deep refrom in colleges of our country, teachers have felt huge psychological pressure. This situation has affected teachers' physical and psychological health. This paper makes college teachers as object of study, explores the current situation of their life habit and psychological pressure. By the individual case research and data processing on teachers' life habit and pyschological pressure in East China Normal University and Huzhou Teachers' College, this paper discusses the exsiting problems and differences in different areas and categories aiming at getting some methods of promoting teachers' health consciousness and improving their life style, supplying relative reference on completing ranks of teachers, protecting teachers' health and ensuring the cultivation of high quality talented persons in our country. This paper gets the following conclusions by investigating the 229 teachers' life style and psychological pressure in Huzhou Teachers' College and 271 teachers' life style and psychological pressure in East China Normal University. Then it makes an comparative research on life style and psychological pressure.1. There are differences on the work and rest time between the East China Normal University and Huzhou Teachers' College. Teachers in East China Normal University get up earlier and go to bed later. Teachers in Huzhou Teachers' College have their dinners more normally.2. There is no obvious difference in choosing vegetality food, such as vegetable, bean products, sea weed and tania cereals. Teachers in East China Normal University prefer to choose animality food, such as meat, fish, egg and dairy products.3. On the health consciousness, the evaluation on health, sleeping quality, appetite, sleeping time, sports time and nutrition balance coming from teachers in East China Normal Universtiy is lower than Huzhou Teachers' College.4. There is no difference on the health knowledge and health attitude between them.5. On psychological pressure dimensionality, there are differences in inner stressor, such as physical situation, mental health, emotional health and pressure control. At the same time, there are differences in outer stressor, such as alcohol, drug using, nutrition ingestion, social and environmental health consciousness.6. On psychological pressure dimensionality, there are some differences on the every classificaton of gender, academic career, professional title, sports situation of every week and health self-evaluation.Suggestions:1. Increase the propaganda on health knowledge.Increase the propaganda on the laws of life and draw teachers' attention on diet health regularity.2. College needs to create relaxing work environment.College needs to organize some healthy collective activities, supplying communication chances and places for young teachers, bringing up collectivism idea and promoting human communication and adaptation ability. 3. Complete personnel system.Education department and colleges need to form scientific and reasonable administrative mechanism and effective excitation mechanism, increase young teachers' satisfication and sense of belonging in order to make them keep nice mind-set, strengthen the team of young teachers' pressure, motivation and vitality.4. Pay attention to teachers' cultivation.Draw up the whole development plan of young teachers and program of carrying out it by years. Form the system of advanced studies of teachers' profession. Encourage young teachers to get advanced studies by improving the welfare and changing work arrangement.5. Enhance education on ideological and ethical standard and improve moral culture.Enhance ideological and ploitical work and psychological pressure leading work, promote young teachers' psychological ability to bear and lead them to adjust and control their emotion in order to make them keep psychological balance.6. Make professional cognition training.The professional cognition training could not only make teachers be conscientious and meticulous in work, but also make them be confident and emotional in work. Harmonious development is helpful in releasing pressure and decreasing pressure source.7. Give much attention to teachers' work and life.Colleges could employ professional people to supply counseling and psychological consultation on families' work problems for teachers and their families. This method could relieve teachers' and their families' spirit pressure. In addition, colleges should try to help them find ways to solve problems.8. Family members' support and personal regulation.Family members should give certain support to young teachers. If they are patient to listen to young teachers' complaint, young teachers could lighten their psychological pressure. Young teachers also need to master some self-regulation ways and skills in order to improve psychological health.
