Parent-child relationship is the first interpersonal relationship exposed to individual, it is also the most important and basic relationship during their whole lifespan. Parent-child relationship has an important effect on emotion, behavior, interpersonal communication, social adjustment, school adjustment of children and adolescents. This study was designed to find the effect of parent-child relationship training on children's adaptation level in kindergarten. By using the EMBU and Cornners children behavior questionnaires on a sample consisted of 131 children aged from four to six year's old, researcher investigated the relationship between the mothers-children relationship (mother's parenting style standards) and the children' adaptation conditions in kindergarten, then gave an test about the correlation between them. The results are following.(1) All of the four factors of mothers' parenting style show no differences both between genders and between age-groups in 4-6-year-old children.(2) Factor 1 and factor 3 of kindergarten adaptation of 4-6-year-old children do not show gender differences, but on factor 2 and 4 a gender difference is found: the boys shows more moves deed. While the two age-groups show no differences in factor1, 2 and 4, but in factor 3, they show a significant difference: the low-aged have more inattention-passivity deeds.(3) A significant correlation was found between the parent-child relationship and the children's kindergarten adaptation: the better the situation of parent-child relationship, the more excellent behavior children show in their kindergarten. On these basis, Researcher constitute an experiment. Select 15 children to make up of an experimental group and give training to the children's mothers by using a self-designed training program for bettering parent-child relationship. The training class was given one time per week and lasted 8 weeks. There is another group of 15 children constituted as the control group and there is no training on their mothers in this group. Two weeks after the end of the experimental treatment, we applied the after experimental measurements on parent-child relationship and the adaptation situation of children in kindergarten, and compared the experimental group and control group children's test scores before and after the experiment, by which we have tested the effect of experimental intervention and the study results concluded that:(1) Training of parent-child relationship can improve the mother-to-child parenting styles; it can also improve the quality of mother-child relationship and improve the kindergarten adaptation level of children.(2) The training program for bettering parent-child relationship in this study is a set of training programs which can improve mother-child relationship. The results show that the parent-child relationship training is an effective means to improve the parent-child relationship, and also improve the children's adaptation in their kindergarten. Though the training of parent-child relationship demands a great deal of time and effort, by the training, we can have the children own a better adaptation in their kindergarten life, and even a better adaptation in their social life in future. We believe that these efforts pay it worth.
