The concept of emontional intelligence is related to the rise of more and more researchers paid attention to the importance of emotion in individual's work and life. The teacher's profession demands teachers should be good at perceiving, understanding, expressing and controlling themselves and students'emotion.Their also should help students increase their skills to handle emotional problems. The job of teaching becoming more and more stressful, teachers themselves also appear emotional prombles, which has bad effect on teaching result. Based on referring to the previous literatures and doing some interviews, we make the middle school teacher's emotional intelligence scale. The middle school teachers took part in this research as participants; this research preliminarily discussed the teachers'emontional current situation, the features of the teachers'emontional intelligence, and the relation of middle school teachers'emotional intelligence, emotional work and the sense of teaching efficacy with questionnaire investigation and interview. From the analysis on data, we get the following results:(1) Both positive and negative emotional experience are inexsistence in middle school steachers. Middle school teachers think they should show more positive emotion, but they felt more negative emotion in actual teaching.(2) The middle school teacher's emotional intelligence scale has satisfactory reliability and validity, which can be used as an effective tool to measure the middle school teacher's emontional intelligence. The scale has 20 items, including four dimensions of perceiving emotion, understanding emotion, expressing emotion and controlling emotion.The scores of four dimensions are beyond the middle point 3.5.(3) The emotional intelligence of middle school teachers exists significant differences in age, sex, teaching grade, school age, marriage and teaching classes.(4) The four dimensions of emontional intelligence exist significant relation with the most dimensions of emotional work and the sense of teaching efficacy. The four dimensions of emontional intelligence have different influences on the most dimensions of emotional work and the sense of teaching efficacy. (5) The surface acting has a positive forecast to the general teaching efficacy, passive deep acting has a positive forecast to the personal teaching efficacy.(6) The relation of the middle school teachers'emotional intelligence, emotional work and the sense of teaching efficacy can use path diagram to express.
