The Challenges And Countermeasure Research Which In Universities The Ideological And Political Work Of The Communist Youth League Are Facing

By great amount and deep investigations, the author summarizes the present situation of the work of Communist Youth League in universities and colleges. The result of these investigations shows the following findings:First of all, on the political thought, university students are maturing and they own the self-judgment to political issues, rare students have no clear political orientation and consider politics as the means of seeking personal profits. Secondly, on moral values, college students have the basic ability of morality judgments, but some students have the big contrast in moral cognition, the negative aspect of society and network influence their moral values. Once more, on the outlook on life and values, college students still approve the socialism values but still present the diversified tendency. Finally, on study attitudes, students show the yearning to learn professional knowledge and enhance their professional qualities. The investigation and study to the present situation of university students' thought has very big enlightenment to the ideological and political education in universities and colleges. The author holds that during new time the Communist Youth League of universities are confronted with many challenges: the qualities of university members are irregular, the superiority of Communist Youth League are weakened, etc. For solving these problems, the author provides some new ways: establishing the breakthrough point of the Communist Youth League's work, constructing the harmonious inner world system of college students, perfecting the work attitudes, methods and training of workers, etc. Finally, for guaranteeing the work's effectiveness, the author puts forward three safeguard mechanisms: the strict safeguard mechanism, the unity safeguard mechanism and the executive safeguard mechanism.The paper is composed of four parts:Part One mainly states the importance of the work of ideological education of youth league in universities by analyzing youth league's organization, working aims and requirements, achievements resulting from students'development on morality, integrated quality, practical ability and mental and physical healthy as well.Part Two mainly expounds the significance of research on state of college students'ideology and morality by questionnaires survey. It should give priority to take advantage of incentive system and establish the scientific assessment mechanisms in the work.
