30 years since the implementation of the reform and opening policy, China has basically get rid of the original planned economic system, initially established the market economic system. However, China's sports still using the "professional team system"which usually used in planned economic system. Since the 90s,20th century, China has carried out professionalization reform attempts in some sports project, in which, soccer is the pioneer in professionalization reform of China. In the National Football Work Conference held in HongKoushan of Beijing city in June 1992, Chinese football launched professionalization reform. As a pioneer in the professionalization reform of China's sports, football's success or failure is important to our sports professionalization reform. After more than ten years'development, China's professionalization reform has seen initial success, whose marks are carried out nationwide professional football league, founded a large number of professional football clubs, trained a large number of outstanding football players, coaches, and created a huge number of football fans. But with the deepening of reform, more and more problems began to be exposed. Among them, one of the most prominent problems is the deterioration of professional football labor relations. There are many reasons responsible for the deterioration of professional football labor relations; one important reason for this problem is the absence of legal adjustment. Considering football professionalization has been initially achieved, therefore, the regulation of labor relations should no longer be based on administrative measures or the market-based self-regulation; legal adjustment should be the main way. "The People's Republic of China Labor Contract Law", which came into effect in January 1,2008, made some new adjustments in China's labor relations, Increased efforts in protecting the rights of workers. Football players, like other laborers, looking forward the "Labor Contract Law" to be enactment. But because of its uniqueness and professional careers, football players often get out of the vision of the legislators. The law of Professional football labor relations is still empty.This paper start research from the analysis of the characteristics of China's professional football clubs and athletes, By analyzing the relevant laws, regulations, rules, on the basis of research results of some professional sports systems, to interpret the status of labor relations in China's professional football from a legal point of view, And put forward my own proposals, in order to make people have a preliminary understanding to the status of legal research, scope, characteristics, problems of China's labor relations in professional football, to provide a new starting point to make further study of the professional football labor relations.This paper mainly begin from the following three parts:The first part is the status of China's professional football labor relations, mainly discusses the features, nature and the existing problems of labor relations in China's professional football. Stress that the absence of legal adjustments are an important reason for the deterioration of legal adjustment of professional football labor relations. The second part mainly analyzes the status of legal adjustments of China's professional football labor relations from the substantive law and procedural law aspects. The third part major makes recommendations of how to strengthen the law on the adjustment of professional football labor relations from the point of view of substantive and procedural law.Through research, this paper concludes that:loss of legal regulation result that design of the professional football system ignoring the protection of the rights of athletes. Only when perfect the legal systems, strengthens legal adjustment, re-design a series of unreasonable systems of professional football, can China's professional football labor relations to be harmonious.
