The Research On The Current Situations And Developing Countermeasures Of Hebei Women's Competitive Volleyball

With the rapid development of economy, science and technology, the modern women's competitive volleyball has entered an unprecedented era. The multipolar growing tendency in international modern women's competitive volleyball has showed and the imprvement of athletes'competitive levels make the competition more and more fierce. At present, although Chinese Women's Volleyball maintains certain advantages, it no longer has the strength to be the world champion as before. In the face of development and changes in the world's women's competitive volleyball, if China's wommen's volleyball want to be world strong powers, we must work hard based on the new situations and enhance the overall competitive strength. To achieve this goal, we need to rely on all provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions to work together and it is also our non-adjacent responsibilities and obligations.Hebei Province is located in North Central China. Even though the women's competitive volleyball is not our advantegeous item, it has made great contributions to this cause. For example, Hebei women's volleyball has ever achieved brilliant results, trained a lot of elite athletes for the national women's volleyball team and good coaches as well. However, in the last ten years, Hebei Women's Volleyball always at the edges of the National League's relegation, demotion, and leveling, and didn't show good developping momentum, which reflects there are serious shortcomings and inadequancy in the development of Hebei Women's Volleyball. In order to revitalize Hebei Women's Volleyball, we need to conduct deep research and analysis on the current situations of Hebei Women's Competitive Volleyball in a systematic and comprehensive manner, so as to identify its problems and potential advantages objectively and make countermeasures.In this paper, different reseach methods such as literature review, interviews, survey, mathematical statistics, comparative analysis and logical analysis have been adopted. This paper chooses Hebei women's volleyball team as study subjects and coaches, professional athletes and related experts as the research subjects. We aim to find the current situations of Hebei women's vollyball and analyze the problems and deficiency so that we can disclose the factors that restrict the development of Hebei women's volleyball and make countermeasures.The study results show that: 1. In 1990s, Hebei Province Women's Volleyball team had relatively good rankings over the past decade, but in the recent decade it has always been at the edge of relegation, demotion, and leveling in the National Volleyball League. Its overall competitive strength has a considerable gap with strong domestic volleyball provinces in the physical conditions, technical capabilities, offensive and defensive tactics, and so on and it is difficult to adapt to the modern women's volleyball developing trend.2. Hebei Province Women's Volleyball now has a group of coaches with qualified ideology, rational age structure and reasonable title structure, but for most coaches, their knowledge structures are single, research enthusiasm is not high, research capacity is weak and they lack high-level research achievements.3. Hebei women's volleyball team has only a small number of female players and lack high-level female volleyball players. There is the contradiction between learning and training. Most athletes'cultural foundation is weak and their enthusiasm for cultral learning is not high.4. Hebei Province Women's Competitive Volleyball has sound administration mechanism, leadership configuration, power distribution and various rules and regulations. However, there are some serious problems which affect the development of Hebei women's volleyball, like the single investment channel by government, athletes low income, difficult re-employment after retirement, weak cultural basis, lack of competition mechanism, and lack of women's volleyball team in many amateur sports school, shortage of prospective talents, the limited autonomy at the grassroot level. All those problems affect the development of Hebei women's competitive volleyball.5. Through the comparative analysis with Henan volleyball team, it is found that there is a gap between the two provinces. The age structure of women's coaches in Hebei Province and Henan Province are basically the same, but in the aspect of the academic structure, the title structures, the coaches number, the average of annual published papers are not as good as women's volleyball coach, Hebei women's volleyball is inferior to the Henan women's volleyball. most players in Hebei Women's Volleyball team are young, and their training age, physical fitness, basic skill and practical experience are not as good as women's volleyball team. Hebei women's volleyball is inferior in scientific training, materials, capital investment, the degree of importance leaders attach to and parental support. 6. At present, there are mainly nine factors which restrict the development of Hebei Women's Volleyball. They are inadequate back-up power, lack of high-level coaches and emphasis from leaders, difficult re-employment after athletes'retirement, poor economic conditions and management systems, low scientific training level, low benefits, lack of competition mechanisms.7. In order to improve women's competitive volleyball in Hebei Province, we should take the following measures: the establishment of multi-channel young women's volleyball training system, the establishment of retired athletes re-employment security system, the establishment of a standard coaches training system, the establishment of a scientific system for training, competition and management, the establishment of cultural studies systems for athletes and a scientific athletes selection system and so on.
