Since 1993, application questions have been regained a required type of questions in NMET,the application questions has experienced four stages:advocacy period, explored period, stabilization period, and changes period. Now application questions have been in a high question. and Setting an application question, to rank students'application abilities, becomes increasingly important."Application problems in mathematics entrance examination for college"is the object of research. This article analyzes the factors and features of the common but high-quality application questions. I hope to improve the quantity of creating this type of questions.First, referring to the evaluation index of common tests and he views of front-line teachers and experts as the theoretical basis of the study, the article summaries the factors of the application problems; Second, analyze the application problems of recent 15 years'college entrance examinations from these factors; Then, combining the views of experts, I modify and perfect the factors and features that have been come up with. At last, I come up with the features of high-quality application questions in mathematics entrance examination for college. Research methods used in this study are documentary research, questionnaire, interview and quantitative analysis method.The research discovers that a high-quality application question in mathematics entrance examination for college should possess five features:Firstly, implication should be profound, and it is to say that the questions should have educational value beyond accumulating experience in the activities or harvesting mathematic knowledge.Secondly, background should be real and near. Here,"real"means that the questions should embody the reality,"near"means that the background of questions should be near to the life of students.Thirdly, the express should be"clean". This means that the questions should be popular with the students read, space for too long, many types of expressions coexistence.Fourthly, the model should be natural and pertain. This means that the background should be natural and reasonable, could demonstrate the value of the "application".At last, the width and depth of the knowledge tested in the questions should be reasonable.The conclusion provides some reference to create high-quality application questions in mathematics entrance examination for college. The conclusion also advise that: we need a lot of experience both on the knowledge and practice.
