A Survey And Analysis Of The Impact Of Intrinsic And Extrinsic Motivation On The Students English Learning In NO.2 Vocational School

Modern teaching theory thinks that Study motivation has great effect on students'English learning; it is an important factor in learning. The Learner's study motivation directly related to foreign language learning results. As foreign language teachers, we should study our students'motivation to try to mobilize and foster their enthusiasm for learning, thereby improving the quality of English teaching.For vocational school students, most of them are lack of learning interests; in my paper I just investigate my students'English study motivation and analysis some factors which affect their study motivation to inspire and make use of it to induct them to learn and love English, finally it could help them to treat English correctly.The reason of writing this paper is because there are some questions during the English teaching in vocational school. According to the investigation of the situation of vocational school students, their English study motivation and how they think about their good or bad English study scores, to analyze the impact of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on the students'English learning in vocational school, and so thinking of the different students'characters, to make use of the different study motivation in order to improve their English study interests.To be an English teacher of vocational school, it is very important to improve the teaching methods. The research of study motivation has great practical significance to both teachers and studentsThis paper uses the questionnaires, interviews and individual talks to research. Finally it shows that for vocational school students, the extrinsic motivation to their English study is more important than the intrinsic motivation to their English study.
