Along with reform of elementary education music curriculum thorough implementation, more and more music teachers take an active part in this new educational reform to discuss some questions about music curriculum reform together with their own teaching practice, have got many new achievements. But we should also see soberly that for new music curriculum standard, we also has a very long direction to reach in the reality music education because the music lesson is still unsuitable for its basis in many school's statuse.In order to record the reform course of Yiyang Junior middle school music curriculum and to summarize the results and face up to the questions which appeare in the curriculum reform, also to ensure the smooth progress of the future curriculum reform, the aothor adopted the questionnaire survey, the interview investigation, the classroom observation and so on. This research attempts to collect the opions from the music teachers, students, students'parents and some educational administrators. Analysising the feedbacks of different levels of schools, putting forward the corresponding improvement,the author tries to reserch the situation of Yiyang Junior middle school music curriculum, the development of music teaching activity, junior school music teachers' adaptability and the effectiveness of the music new curriculum implementation. This research summarizes the the encouraging changes existed in the new curriculum as well as some problems which still exist in the implemented process now, analyzed the reasons which caused the questions, and tried to proposing the methods and countermeasures that solved the questions.In the investigation we may see that on one hand, the junior middle school music teachers had certain preparation to implement the new curriculum, the teachers' manners to the new curriculum are quite explicit, partial teacher's educational ideas have already been changed, partial teacher's teaching ways have already been presented the transformation signs. One the other hand, the music new curriculum has won initial success. The curriculum reform is gradually penetrating deeply, changing the appearance of discipline teaching. Music activities developed in order has increased the vitality of discipline teaching. thorough development of teaching research strengthened the stamina of music education. But in the investigation we also find out that there are still some questions both are very universal and worth paying attention to in the new curriculum implements. Such as student's classroom behavior, the design and arrangement of teaching content, the teachers'adaptability, formalism in music class, the initiation negative effect of multimedia technologies utilization, teaching conditions and development of countryside schools can't reach the standard and so on. The reasons of above problems are omnifarious, And all sorts of reasons are interlaced. They will influence the implementation of the new curriculum. We can sum up as the following points:Firstly, the construction of music teacher forces cannot meet the teaching needs. Secondly, there is a distance between the understanding of the leaderships and the request of the discipline construction. Finally, based on survey result, pointing out questions and analysising the reasons, combining the process of current new curriculum and interrelated research. In order to perfect management system, seize opportunities for curriculum reform, standard extracurricular art activities, devolop music education resource, improve the effect of new music training courses, timely correct the actions of students'classroom problems etc, I put forward the suggestions on propeling quality-oriented education comprehensively and further deepening the reform of music course in this article.
