Social ethics construction is one of the foundation projects of China's ethics construction as well as an important component of the construction of socialist spiritual civilization. At present, with the whole nation's deep implementation of the strategic principle of "rule of virtue" under the overall situation of respecting publicmorality, promoting public morality and carrying forward public morality, it has become a matter of social development to have a correct understanding of the present situation of social ethics construction, to research and vigorously strengthen social ethics construction, and to ensure the healthy, rapid and sustainable development of social ethics construction.Whether social ethics is good or bad is always an important reflection of social civilization progress and modernization and a vital mark to measure people. However, such quality does not develop naturally, and it needs to be strengthened through continuous education. Particularly it is because China is now experiencing a critical transitional period from the old economic system to the new one with reform and opening up and modernization, the construction of social Is t market economic system and the social guidance value system is still not perfect, and people's ideological and moral concepts are vulnerable to the impact of adverse effects, which requires forming a national educational system to popularize and optimize social ethics situation. From the kindergarten, primary and secondary schools to universities, and even through the whole life, people should accept social ethics education. As the future backbone of the construction of the mother land, after four years of study, will soon embark on jobs, and their social ethics performance will have a direct impact on the sustainable development of our economic construction and society, relating to our country's future. Therefore, it is of great importance to strengthen the research and implementation of the social ethics education for university students. This paper attempts to rely on the analysis and start from the concrete implementation to systematically study and research social ethics education for university students by combining theory and practice together in the hope of giving modest contributions to the work of social ethics education for university students in the new era. The text is divided into three parts:The first part is on the theoretical framework of social ethics and public morality education for university students. It sets forth the meaning and history of social ethics, the connotation of social ethics education, as well as the characteristics, content and significance of social ethics education for university students.It holds that the mainstream of university students social ethics performance is fine.students have a strong sense of public morality and they can consciously abide by the normative order of public life with a good quality performance. All these phenomena state that the moral education in colleges and universities has obvious effects all over these years. However, there are some students who satisfactorily and act contrary to the norms. The reason is nothing more than the impact of the social environment, the weakness of social ethics education at school the lack of family education and poor self-control on abiding by the social ethics.The third part discusses the countermeasures of strengthening social ethics education for university students. The social ethics education and cultivation for university students is a complicated system. First of all, universities should establish brand new educational ideas of students social ethics; secondly, universities should strengthen ideological and political education in order to improve students awareness of social ethics; thirdly, universities should promote the realization of students self-cultivation of social ethics; last but not least, universities should formulate as system of social ethics education for the students in an all-round way. Only from clearing the idea and goal of education to updating educational approaches and methods so as to form a comprehensive and lasting atmosphere of education, could university students be guaranteed to strengthen their social ethics awareness, improve their moral quality, thus bearing a vibrant, positive and uplifting spirit and be coming new socialist people with an overall development.
