The Design And Realization Of Oas Based On Workflow And Groupware

With the development of computer network and information technology, Office Automation System (OAS) plays a more and more important role in government's daily works. It has a very important meaning to improve the management of managers and the corporation information.Based on the background of constructing Chengdu Environmental Protection Bureau OAS, this paper introduces what is OA, it's development actuality and trend. As pivotal technologies in OAS, the workflow technology application and the groupware system are introduced too.Through analyzing the function demands of Chengdu Environmental Protection Bureau OAS, the paper establishes the system target and puts forward system implementation plan of three parts structure based on the actual state of network and software in Chengdu Environmental Protection Bureau.This paper describes a workflow in OAS as an object. It becomes easy to manage the workflows for users in this way.Consequently, this paper discusses how to integrates the OAS and operation system effectively by accessing relation database through ODBC. More over, the OLE technology was described, the track revisions in a file can be memorized by OLE technology. What's more, this paper proposed a synchronized data strategy between Internet database and Intranet database.This paper discusses the system security design which follows five principles of setting safe strategy via the analysis of Lotus Domino/Notes safe mechanism and RBAC technology in the end.The practice has proved that the author's design approach has achieved good results.
