Design And Implementation Of Color Management Module In Professional Image Processing Software

With the improvement of the life level in material and culture, the need for rich and colorful presswork and other color media becomes higher and higher. So the accurate copy of all kinds of colorful image has become more and more critical. The color management before print is an important part of the whole color reproduction works in print.The establishment of ICC standard leads the color management to standardization, exoteric. Profiles are the important basis of color space conversation between different color spaces. The use of PCS implements the device-independent color reproduction.This paper designs and implements the color management of the professional software of image processing. It mainly investigates the pre-press color management from original image to the image on displays. It implements color management of operation system level—ICM 2.0 and custom color management of application level at the same time. The thesis also designs the working flows of the total color management and of the color conversion. In the implementation of the custom color management, it realizes the color conversion based on the Shaper/Matrix model and the CLUT Model. By experiment, it compares the results of different models.
