With the rapid development of the control, computer, communication and network, the scopes of information exchange is extending rapidly. As a kind of media of information exchange rapidly, network penetrates all kinds of trade.Among all kinds of network, Internet is the most universal.A Fieldbus System is an electronic device integrated into a technical environment. A Fieldbus System can be seen as an information system in the Process Automation field. The trend to offer service over the Internet also influences the Process Automation field. Users of fieldbus system information may perform more efficient tasks by remotely accessing fieldbus information. Therefore, fieldbus have extended their connectivity needs beyond to the factory plant floor. The most recent effort of standardizing the fieldbus system technology has been the development of Smart Transducer (ST) Systems and the definition of the three conceptual ST Interfaces specification.The paper researches mainly the Web Service Architecture for remotely accessing ST Systems and hope to make an architecture model for remotely accessing ST systems via Web Service. ST System is a researched object and a kind of fieldbus system. It is also source and end-result of data. Web Service can read from and write to ST system.Finally, the effective work of the prototype has proven that the idea and methods presented in this paper are correct.
