Purpose1. To evaluate efficacy, and safety in clinical application of ShuangHuangLian injection.2.To explore ShuangHuangLian injections occurrence and characteristics ofADR.3.To explore TCM injections clinical research methods.Methods1. Literature reviewUsing the ways of literature research and the analysis of the literature metrology to undergo a retrospective analysis of the recent progress in the clinical application of ShuangHuangLian injection and revaluation of the published lireratures of it to evaluate the quality of the injection system.2.Meta analysisComprehensive and retrieval system at home and abroad in 1979-2015 Chinese and English literature database collect related clinical randomized controlled trials RCTs RCTs of meet eligibility criteria using bias risk assessment tool to evaluate the quality of its methodology. Draw the basic information of the research. Using RevMan 5.2 software to RCTs Meta analysis results with the forest figure. Through the sensitive analysis of the stability of the evaluation results, and use the funnel chart analysis into the RCTs presence of publication bias.3.Data miningBy searching the database,collecting the detailed studies of ADRs. Using the weka software analysis data,use the decision tree algorithm and the association rules to Analysis the characteristics of the ShuangHuangLian injection ADRs.The results of the study1. ShuangHuangLian injection used for the treatment of infantile pneumonia:19 trials involving 3133 participants were included, which were divided into the experimental group (1635 cases) and control group (1498 cases). ShuangHuangLian injection which was not combined antibiotics and antiviral treatment group compared with control group, no difference was found [RR=1.02,95%CI(0.99,1.06),P=0.21). ShuangHuangLian injection combined antibiotics and antiviral experimental contrast control can improve the clinical total effective rate (RR=1.14,95%CI (1.10,1.19), P< 0.00001). There were 15 ADRs in the experimental group, and 7 in control group.2. ShuangHuangLian injection used for acute upper respiratory tract infection:25 test, participants included 4204, the experimental group (2439 cases), controlgroup (1765 cases). ShuangHuangLian injection in treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infection can improve the clinical efficacy of total effective rate (RR=1.21,95%CI (1.18,1.25), P<0.00001). There were 42 ADRs in the experimental group, and 10 in control group.3. ShuangHuangLian injection used for the treatment of herpangina:14 trials including 1203 cases of patients were divided into the experimental group (712 cases), control group (491 cases). Herpangina ShuangHuangLian injection therapy can improve the clinical efficacy of total effective rate (RR=1.26,95%CI (1.20,1.32), P<0.00001). There were 5 ADRs in the experimental group, and 7 in control group.4. ShuangHuangLian injection used for the treatment of mumps:11 experiments including 1424 cases of patients were divided into the experimental group (775 cases), control group (649 cases). ShuangHuangLian injection used for treatment of mumps can improve the clinical efficacy of total effective rate (RR=1.19,95%CI (1.07,1.32), P= 0.001). There were 1 ADRs in the experimental group, and 3 in control group.5. ShuangHuangLian injection used for the treatment of viral myocarditis:6 tests including 536 cases of patients were divided into the experimental group (319 cases), control group (217 cases). ShuangHuangLian injection used for treatment of viral myocarditis can improve the clinical efficacy of total effective rate (RR=1.13,95%CI (1.05,1.21), P=0.0005). There were none ADRs in the experimental group and control group.6. ShuangHuangLian injection used for the treatment of viral meningitis:5 tests including 271 patients which divided into the experimental group (141 cases) and control group (130 cases). ShuangHuangLian injection used for treatment of viral meningitis can improve the clinical efficacy of total effective rate (RR=1.33,95%CI (1.11,1.59), P=0.02),ADRs appear in both groups,but the number of cases is unknown.7. ShuangHuangLian injection used for the treatment of hand, foot and mouth disease:5 experiments including 603 patients, the experimental group (307 cases), control group (296 cases). ShuangHuangLian injection used for treatment of hand, foot and mouth disease can improve the clinical efficacy and the total effective rate (RR=1.13,95%CI (1.01,1.25), P=0.03). There were 3 ADRs in the experimental group, and none in control group.8. ShuangHuangLian injection used for the treatment of hepatitis B,2 experiments including 410 cases of patients were divided into the experimental group (274 cases) and control group (136 cases). ShuangHuangLian injection can improve the clinical efficacy of treatment of hepatitis b meningitis and total effective rate(RR=1.39,95%CI (1.23,1.57), P<0.00001).ADRs are not mentioned in experimental group and control group.9. For the 529 ADRs of application of ShuangHuangLian injection, it has been noticed that:the majority of the patients are kids (21.25%); the majority of the patients originally have respiratory tract infection (71.96%); the majority of the patients have used the combination of penicillin medicine(28.38%); the majority of the patients have skin symptoms (54.91%).Research ConclusionThis study shows that ShuangHuangLian injection is effectively operational for both singly applied or combination with western medicines, compared with the antibiotics and antiviral medicines, it contained several merits, but additional research must be undertaken to evaluate and investigate the ADR.
