As imaginal language,the children draws are the ways children expressthemselves, by which we can understand their thinking, experience, feelings anddesires. The socialization of children make children have gradually mastered socialexperience and relations, such as moral character, values, behavioral norms, attitudetowards life, and many ability, for instance,self-adjustment, communication skills,The interpretation of some phenomena of children draws will prove the influence ofsocialization on children.Meanwhile, the study of children’s socialization processand its influencing factors lay a solid foundation for further carrying out the work ofchildren painting counseling and teaching.This thesis does the study from the perspective of children’s socialization, whichfocuses on the factors of children’s socialization embedded in the children draws andits influences on the forms of children painting.Meanwhile, this thesis uses thecombination of literature analysis and quantitative data which are obtained by visitand investigation. Several embodiment ways of children’s socialization factorsreflected in the child draws are: the influences of the Chinese family values,educational idea of fine arts at school, the company concept and the mass mediaconcept. Whereas some negative influences have been exerted on the panting form ofthe children draws in term of modeling, colour, composition and the theme.This study,by virtue of practice and exploring, see children’s art education and its currentsituation with a brand new view, it has proved that children draws play a guide role inchildren’s socialization.The thesis consists of five parts. The first part is the introduction to propose thefunction and purpose of the fine arts education, and to point out the current situationof the modern arts education and its questions.The second part is the theoryelaboration of children draws and children’s socialization. The third part is toexplore the factors of children’s socialization reflected in the child draws, it is shownas the following several aspects: the influences of Chinese family values, educationidea of fine arts at school, the company concept and the concept of the massmedia.The fourth part is the core part of this paper, which has summarized somenegative effects on children draws after excessive socialization of the children.These effects are reflected in the painting forms as follows: modeling, colour,composition and the theme, The fifth part puts forward the implications of today’schildren painting teaching through the above analysis. It has certain feasibility to usechildren draws to guide children’s socialization.Therefore, as Children’s art education workers, we should not only follow nature of children’s physical and psychological development, but also actively guidechildren’s socialization to let children become the objects of social function and bethe main bodies with social function, making children get all-round development ofbody and mind.
