| This paper aims to research on the life experience of Zhu Yaoxie and Jin Guangzhou, whostudied in Shanghai China in1920s to1930s, as well as their culture works.After the March1st Movement in1919, the Korean Provisional Government wasestablished in Shanghai, and more and more Korean scholars and patriots came here to join in theIndependence Movement. This period, from March1st Movement to1937, when Japan startedthe war of aggression against China is the most active time that Korean immigration came toShanghai for a living and movements. This paper selects two of the most representative authors ofthe period, Zhu Yaoxie and Jin Guangzhou.Zhu Yaoxie joined lots of patriotic groups, such as Shanghai-Korean YMCA, during1921and1937and gave lots of speech as Habits, Marxism and Us, Possible Space for NationalTransformation. In this time, he produced many literal works, the most representative of which areRickshaw Pullers, Homicide, Consideration of first love. These works are of great significance inportraying Shanghai’s life and politic in1920.Jin Guangzhou owns the most poems and novels context Shanghai among the authorsduring this period. From1929to1937when Sino-Japanese war fully broke out, he wrote manymovie reviews, essays and translations based on Chinese literature. His literal works is inperspective of Korean immigration and portray Korean poverty without any prejudice, which hasgreat significance.Firstly, this paper observed the life experience and literal creations in1920-1930of ZhuYaoxie and Jin Guangzhou when they studied in Shanghai. Secondly, this paper compared thecommons and differences of their lives and works through horizontal comparison method, andalso foud out the reasons. At last, this paper compared the Shanghai images showed up in theseworks, which concludes the Revolution Image, the Underclass People’s Life Image and CityImage. Thus, authors’ inner world finally comes to us through comparison. |
