Design And Application Of Computer - Aided Vocabulary Memory System Based On Learning Theory

Because of the need of study, a large number of vocabulary memory books was published, and some of the vocabulary memory software and some vocabulary learning websites also introduced in recent years, which provides the convenience for the majority of English learners. However, due to the limitations of vocabulary books editors, every book was used only a limited number of memory principles, generally, and the method of remembering words have more room for improvement. While the word memory software and vocabulary learning website basically not using associative memory method, they just show up with a new technology, learners’ memory method almost have no improvement.In view of many learning theories, the vocabulary memory system used computer skills and worked by Internet medium. Firstly, this article states the theory framework and theoretical innovation of the memory system, then, analysis the condition of learners and learning content. So, the memory system can teach memory methods. On the basis of words memory theories, this system can also teach memory methods and improve their memory ability. After learners understanding related vocabulary memory theories, they will share the characteristics of vocabulary memory method by using the distributed cognition theory in network community environment, and select reasonable method of memory. Using vocabulary reviewing software, which based on the memory theory of the game-based learning, we try to review and consolidate those learned vocabulary. In addition, cooperating with the meditation exercise, we try to find the correlation between the meditation exercise helping attention focusing and memory.This research shows that:the vocabulary memory system can improve the learning efficiency of who learning English vocabulary, and improve the learners’ interest in English-vocabulary learning. The vocabulary memory system, to some extent, has some innovating in theory and practice, moreover, it make up for many deficiencies of existing vocabulary memory system.
