| Objective:Testing college students’ inner peace scale reliability and validity, studying the applicability of this scale for Chinese college students.Methods:This study used a questionnaire survey, using SPSS to analyze the relevant data, testing the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.Results:Each topic of questionnaire significantly relates with the total score, college students’ inner peace scale can effectively distinguish different inner peace level of Chinese college students; the Cologne Bach alpha coefficient of scale is0.901, has high reliability, the other scale’s alpha coefficient is greater than0.7, has good reliability; college inner peace has a significantly positive correlation with POMS, positive emotions, happiness index, general health,quality of life, FFMQ, Philadelphia Mindfulness, and significantly negative correlation with negative emotion, state trait anxiety. The average of college students’ inner peace scale is20.42, is in the middle level; Students of different genders have significant difference scores in college students’ inner peace scale and POMS, the scores of male is significantly lower than female’s.Conclusions:(1) Analyzing the relevance between each topic and the total score, testing the reliability of the scale, according to the test results of the scale’s internal consistency reliability, the reliability coefficient of scale is0.901, the college student’s inner peace scale has good reliability;(2) Based on the testing results of the scale’s criterion related validity, the scale has a significantly positive correlation with positive criterion, has a significantly negative correlation with negative criterion, so the scale has good reliability and validity, this scale applies to Chinese college students.(3) The whole college students’ inner peace level is in medium level, there are gender differences in level of college students’ inner peace, the inner peace’s level of male is significantly lower than female’s. |
