Sentimentality,one of the drivers of literary creation.is also aesthetic characteristics of Song Ci. It can reflect the genuine feeling of Song Ci, and enrich human mind. Sentimentality is not only the motional fundamental key of the Graceful and Restrained Ci, but also is the hidden heart melodies of the Bold and Inhibited Ci. Bold and inhibited is the ideal style which the poet pursue deliberately.but sentimental emotion is the essence of Ci. The paper mainly discuss the sentimental presents; the cause; the way to relieve and the aesthetic meaning of Song Ci with the example of Su Shi who belongs to free and powerful style.The The first chapter mainly describes the relationship between Song Ci and sentimentality,and selects some representative the Bold and Inhibited Ci to demonstrate the relationship.The second chapter, based on the text, the paper analysis comprehensively the sentimentality in Su Shi’s poems, which is mainly from four aspects:the space time sigh of "dream life"; the wrench of leaving of "long life"; the crying out against injustice of "What day sent Feng Tang" and the home thinking of "where shall I go"The third chapter analysis the causes of sentimentality from macro and micro angles.On the macro side, the dilemma,which the most northern song dynasty literati have faced,has influence on Su Shi. On the micro side, Su Shi was affected by Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism,and these factors lead to a contradiction for him which is to be official or a hermit.The last chapter states how Su Shi relieve the sentimentality by the style of wine; dream and leisure. The paper believe that this is the process of emotional balance; psychological complement and identity conversion and the process has aesthetic significances of facing the suffering and discarding the sorrow.
