| This study was aimed at examining the forgiveness and school adaptability of highvocational school students. The participants were380high vocational school students. Theywere presented the Forgiveness and School Adaptability questionnaire. The collected datawas processed by SPSS16.0. The forgiveness and School Adaptability of high vocationalschool students were studied respectively, and the link between them was examined as well.The result shows:(1) Forgiveness of high vocational school students is at and below themid-level, and There is no significant variance over the three dimensions of forgivenessacross the gender and specialization of students.(2) No significant variance is identified oneach dimension of students’ school adaptability over gender; The variance is identified overstudents’ specialization: students specialized in cooking show much stronger positive affectand weaker inferiority than students specialized in computer; There is no significant varianceover gender and specialization in terms of the dimensions of targeted value and acceptance.And there is no clear sign of the interacting between the factors of gender and specialization.(3) All the dimensions of forgiveness of high vocational school students strongly andpositively correlate with satisfaction and meaningfulness and acceptance, while theynegatively correlates with inferiority. In addition, Forgiveness only accounts for schooladaptability of high vocational school students in a rate of24.9%. |
