The Interest Profile (IP-60) is one of American career exploration tools which was published by American Department of Labor. It measures six types of occupational interests: Realistic (R), Investigative (Ⅰ), Artistic (A), Social (S), Enterprising (E), and Conventional (C). After translation and three testings, I sampled1200students from senior middle school in Qongdao, Dezhou and Heze of Shandong Province. The specific conclusions are as follows:(1) The scale. After5items are replaced, the formal scale still has60items totally which are designed to measure6dimensions as the previous scale has.(2) Reliability analysis. The internal consistency coefficient (Cronbach-α) of the whole scale is0.904; Cronbach-α of6dimensions range from0.735to0.850; After one week, the test-retest reliability coefficients of6dimensions range from0.921to0.973.(3) Validity analysis. Using content validity, structural validity, congruent validity and differential validity demonstrate to analyse the validity of the formal IP-60scale of Chinese version.Content validity:After revised and checked by several psychologists and using correlation method to examine the content validity. The result shows that the content validity is quite good.Structural validity:①Using the method of MSD. The picture in two dimensions fits Holland occupational interests well (stress is0.165, RSQ is0.889);②There is a common factor in each dimension; the results of randomness test present that CI of RIASEC is0.71.Congruent validity:The correlations IP-60between vocational interest inventory of CaiYonghong and vocational interest inventory of Taiwan university entrance examination relatively is0.683to0.961and0.492to0.752.Differential validity:The results of F Test demonstrate that there is a significant difference between the students of science and liberal arts and arts on Realistic type; There is a significant difference between the students of science and liberal arts and arts on Investigation type; There is a significant difference between the students of arts and liberal arts and science on Artistic type; There was a significant difference between the students of arts and liberal arts and science on Social type; There is a significant difference between the students of arts and liberal arts and science on Enterprise type; There is a significant difference between the students of science and liberal arts and arts on Conventional type.(4)There are percentile norms and T norms of scores, gender and majors of students from senior middle schools of Shandong Province.
